Jennifer Lowe – Beaded Lanyard

These beaded lanyards come with both a clip and a ring to be versatile. The ring is bound to the lanyard with leather. Jennifer uses a durable 6 lb fireline, size 11 Czech beads, and paracord to make the lanyard. She uses bead wrapping in which the beads are tacked down twice to make sure they are secure. Jennifer’s designs reflect her heritage as a fishing family. She uses blue beads because Newfoundland is known as Ktmaqkuk (across the water) and black, red, orange and white colours that show the movement of the Sun because they are the people of the dawn (the sun rises in Newfoundland and Labrador first).
